Hello!

I am getting a strange sound from my Z725 mower. It's not the engine, only sounds when the blades are engaged. I can't really describe the sound, but the machine makes the normal loud noises when the blades are engaged, and then it gets louder for for maybe three seconds, then it goes away for about three seconds. Very cyclical. I was wondering if maybe something needed to be greased? But the only thing I can find in the operator's manual is that the front wheels have zerk fittings. This is maybe my fourth Kubota zero turn and all others have been pretty trouble free. This one however, has been nothing but trouble. And of course the mower is a problem as I'm heading out of town. The mower has 300 hours on it, it's a 2016. I had it in for service several years in a row so I'm not sure what it could need. Thanks for any thoughts.

My Z422 has made a “noise” since new…it’s a “jingling” kind of noise when idling…looked high and low for something but to no avail. Mower is perfect and a joy to use otherwise…

If you cannot grease the spindles, chances are that you have a bearing on its way out. My first one started acting up around the same hours. Noise can also be caused by an unbalanced or bent blade. Does it sound like a low rumbling vibration sound?
