Newbie with Kubota L 3560. Snagged a branch while windshield wiper was running. Now when turning on the wipers, the blade goes about 2 " and then stops and has a buzzing noise. If I push the blade it moves and goes back to where it just buzzes. Tried tightening the flange nut but no improvement.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Much appreciated

I assume the wiper arm got moved on the motor shaft.

Take the wiper blade arm off of the motor shaft that rotates. See if there is any damage to the splines of the arm or shaft.

Operate the wipers and then turn them off. If there was no damage to anything then reinstall the arm where it looks correctly located in the off position.

If you see damage either replace the parts or evaluate if it will work if reinstalled.
