Hello all,

Looking for some help.

The water separator indicator on my LX3310 is floating at an angle (see pic). I've drained it several times and as the fuel fills up the cup it returns to an angle. My understanding is if there is water it should float level. The Water Separator warning light does not illuminate and the tractor runs fine. I've never seen it float before.

I checked my excavator that gets the same fuel and the indicator ring is not floating.

Thank you in advance,

Jeff

Bad ring, it has water or more likely and air bubble trapped in it.

Thank you and I'm pretty sure you're right. I took my excavator water separator off and put the fuel that was in the tractor water separator into it. The ring did not float.
Will you be able to get a new ring? I looked at Kubota parts and didn’t see it in the components section which seemed odd to me.

I would tell you to take it out and clean it real well then put it in the microwave oven for 15 seconds and see if it gets hot, but I don't want the wife to kill me. 😉

I didn’t read the parts list just looked at picture! I thought there had to be a seal at the bottom of the filter so assumed that was NOT the “float”.

#50 is actually this float

They do not list the ring separately?
