Is this water contamination? This come out of my transfer tank. Luckily I haven’t transferred any in my tractor.

It might just be foam. Water falls to the bottom, so set the jar on the kitchen counter and leave it undisturbed for the evening. Then gently lift it and see if water is on the bottom. Your sample is quite small to be checked, but water is difficult to hide and you should see it.

If that bead is on the bottom, it's water. Looks like it.
Yes it is. That’s what I was thinking. The only reason I check it in the first place was the pump wasn’t threaded in completely onto the tank. Rain water I suspect. I have a 20 gal poly tank with pump like shown.
The pump doesn’t thread to the tank well and will loosen up. It’s a good setup other than that. Any input is appreciated.

Use tru-blu pipe thread sealant on the pump threads and it won't loosen up.

The quantity in the tank is near impossible to determine from that sample, but I have had the same amount in my truck water separator without even knowing (till I drained it). You could buy an in line water separator for the pump and keep an eye on it. Now would be the time to add the appropriate amount of bio treatment to keep the growth at bay.

It is treated with bio. I’m going drain it, figure out how to fix my pump mount and add a separator. Thanks for the link.

Put it in the freezer. In a few hours you will know if it is water/ice, or not.
