I bought a pair of Victor 250 series Medalist Made in USA regulators for $45. Both look like they have seen little use. The oxygen regulator is model 250-80-540. The fuel gas regulator is model 250-40-510LP marked “LIQ. PETRO. GAS ONLY”. I intend to use these with a Victor 100C handle and CA1350 cutting attachment that my brother gave me. My question is what makes the fuel gas regulator LP ONLY? Is it because it is set up to deliver 2-40 psi for LP instead of 2-15 psi for acetylene?
