V3307-T CR piston replacement

Hi. I have a Kubota V3307-T CR motor that had to be bored to 94.5mm cylinders. I can’t find oversized pistons other than ones with 51.5 mm combustion chambers. The current pistons have 58mm chambers. The book calls for 1J751-21910 oversized piston. I can’t find anywhere what size chamber that piston has. This overhaul has been a complete disaster. From machine shops not even wanting to bore the block to a severe lack of parts and expertise. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That blows my mind. A $2000 repair turns into nearly $10k plus labor. Ridiculous

Labor is "free" if you do it yourself. It's not free if the dealer does it.

Running around town to each machine shop costs. In this area, there is one, who is months behind usually. I've had stuff sit there 2 1/2 years before they got to it, to give you an idea. I like the guy but he's slow as Christmas. Only other shop in the area is 2 1/2 hours away (one way). That's 5 hours to drop the block off, 5 hours to pick it up. 10 hours at $150/hr is $1500 by itself.

Even if I do one at my home shop for someone, it's far more than $2000. I don't do shoddy work. Do it right or come get your stuff and let some certified youtoob shade tree mechanic do it. At $150/hr the labor adds up quick.

Even doing my own stuff, I can't think of one time that a rebuild was $2000. Maybe an old SBF 302 that was a new block, but even that one I think was over 2 grand.
