Used Kubota parts

I have a B6100 3 cyl diesel that the generator has not been charging for years. I think a bearing has now piled up as there is a real screeching noise when running and the fan is very hard to turn with the belt off. Where is the best place to find a used generator in western Canada. I imagine a rebuilt would be obsolete but it would be nice to have a charging system again. Is there any way that I could update this as it would be the perfect time to do so

Do you have a local starter alternator shop near you that you can take it to and see if they can rebuild yours for you?

If this is your machine, #1 is the dynamo, Kub Cda lists for $320+-. How they are very 'robust,other than the bearings so it may electrically be fine however the 'rectifier/regulator and /or wiring may be the real reason why it doesn't charge.Never seen one but maybe bearing is in the water pump? Others will know !
