I got a “good deal” on a used Landpride gs0548 landplane.
The guy I got it from felt he bought the wrong implement for his gravel drive and after using it I have to agree! This model has a problem!
The blades are set at a very aggressive 1.5” below the skids. They are welded in place so you cannot adjust the cut and have to use the TPH instead of just dropping the grader scraper and pulling.
The next model up, the 15 series has adjustable blades. The owner’s manual for the 1548 says you can adjust from even with the skids to 1.5” below and the most common setting is 1/4” below the skids.
What is Landpride thinking setting the gs0548 at the most aggressive setting?

I experience the same problem with the GS0548 with no blade adjustment. It goes to deep on my gravel driveway and gathers too much gravel because the blades are so far(1.5”) below the skids.

I am thinking of going to the GS1548 for the adjustment.

I was wondering going to the GS1560 would be too much for my Kubota B2601? I wider pull on my driveway would be better.

I run a "5-foot" Catawba land leveler behind my 2650. Their 5' has a working width of 64" overall width of 69", and weighs 582lbs. My tractor pulls it just fine on both the flat area of my drive and up the hill to the house. The Catawba blades aren't adjustable, but they're only set about 1/2" below the skids and have worked fantastically for me.

"Land leveler". Yet another reason to think that there's a connection between Everything Attachments and Catawba Attachments.
