I’m reaching out to the inner web for advice I have a mx5400 been at the dealer for 7 months for hydraulics overheating and was starting to randomly blow hoses all throughout the tractor after 7 months of tractor sitting at the dealer they managed to get bought out by another dealer the store manager got fired and the tech went to jail lol about 2 weeks ago I get a text for a 400 dollar invoice when all this was supposed to be under warranty so I called on a Saturday and the new manager answered the phone and opened up my file come to find out they was fixing to try to stick me with a 18k labor bill not including parts and tractor is still not fixed fast forward manager said they are delivering the tractor this week fixed but they have no solution what they did so tells me it’s unfixed and oh it’s out of warranty now what would some of y’all do lol ?

It might be fixed give them a chance or maybe it's not just try it and if it's not call kubota and explain it to them they are good people to talk to I went through this once too but on the dealer end as a tech the original dealer got bought out by a bigger company and they said they was gonna leave everything alone but that was a lie like it usually is the only thing left alone was that they kept all us employees there but eventually over a 2 year period ran the good ones off because they didn't take good care of the shop guys but heavily favored the sales department that's wonderful to do that and then they wonder why they can't keep shop personnl since 2020 they've had about 70 some odd people come and go in the shop but the two salesman are still there imagine that

it sucks when this happens but i'd like to know the history of the tractor and what was actually done to it to remedy the overheating hydraulics and why do we think the hydraulics was overheating to begin with

It all started a week after I bought it in 2022 I could smell hot fluid but a thermal on the loader valve and the valves themselves was 250-300 degrees while I was bushhog it and not even touching the loader tech came out didn’t fix it said run it til it breaks bc it’s under warranty and I be dang a week after warranty ran out from running so hot just driving the tractor hydraulic hoses would blow I suppose from the prolonged heat stress so the dealer was gonna stand behind it even tho it was a week out of warranty 4 months into them having it I tossed the idea to them of them giving me a loaner tractor and they delivered me one needless to say it must been some under table stuff bc no one even the rental manager didn’t know I had this rental and they turned it off today can’t even unhook my implements from it lol .
