My L4802 came with Kubota's relatively new Trac Loader II - Kubota R4 tires. Which from what I understand is a collaboration between Kubota and Titan with Kubota having exclusive rights to the tire for the first couple years.
I've had 2 tractors with conventional R4's and 2 tractors with R14's. The R4's were what everyone expects and knows of R4's. I did not care at all for the R14's. The front R14's punctured and cut easily and due to their very rounded cross section and light construction heavy loader work just never felt a stable as R4's. I actually changed one of my tractors front tires from R14's to R4s and felt an improvement in stability and durability.
I've had these new Trac Loader II - Kubota tires now for 51hrs and am thoroughly pleased with them. They have the stability and seem to have the same durability of regular R4s with much much better traction than standard R4s. I am extremely pleased with these tires.
