See my toolbox on my MX6000. I just removed the useless plastic Kubota box and replaced it in the same location. I did have to make a steel extension bracket for the SMV sign. I have since also added a small ammo box next to the toolbox on the ROPS cross brace.Anyone find a good spot to mount a toolbox on a MX6000. I had a L4701 that I swapped out the cheap one for an ammo box and really liked having it. Just can't seem to find a good spot on the MX.
That's exactly what I did on my L4701. I should have mentioned that my MX has a cab.See my toolbox on my MX6000. I just removed the useless plastic Kubota box and replaced it in the same location. Oh, well I don’t have any experience with a cab tractor, but I think a canvas or cordura tool bag with a zipper might work for you. For others with an open station, I snapped a few more photos of my boxes mounted on the tractor. The large box is for a chain, tools, and pins. The small ammo box serves as a glovebox for stashing small items. That's exactly what I did on my L4701. I should have mentioned that my MX has a cab.

It’s an old Sears Craftsman that I have had for decades. But there are plenty made in the same style available today. I simply cut a sheet of thicker steel to put in the bottom to strengthen it, then attached to the crossbar by drilling holes in the bottom and using u-bolts.Do you happen to have a brand or link for this toolbox?
