My brother tipped over my Kubota because he didn't lift the backhoe arm up. We got the Kubota upright but it is supported by the backhoe. Engine won't start but I need to get the backhoe arm up so I can move it in to my shop to take off glow plugs. Any advice on how to get the backhoe off the ground so i can get it mov

A couple years ago the neighbor had a bh with the arm down. We broke the lines loose and lifted with another tractor.
If other equipment is not available try a strap or come along to try to pull up.

Secure lever to 'up'
Use comealong and a straps to 'raise the arm'.
It'll take longer to gather he tools than to do the job.

Did you crank the engine with the starter? If so, I hope it didn’t cause any damage. If not, that is good and don’t crank it until you get the glow plugs out. Then turn it over by hand if you can to eject any oil. Then crank with the starter.

I assume that is what you are planning on doing.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I got it into my shop and removed glow plugs. After I got them reinstalled it fired off. It did smoke a bit but that went away and it seems to be running smoothly. I did notice some oil dripping out of the exhaust though, is this normal? I think it stopped but I am concerned.

curious... how long did you run it ? Liquid drops means mufflers not very hot.
FWIW...
I've had gas engines that 'magically' got oil into the muffler from turning them on the wrong side to service them. Once started , run them until the hot muffler burns off the oil, usually 10-15 minutes.
it doesn't take too many drops of oil to make a big stink !

Don’t be concerned about the oil in the exhaust. But do verify you have a full engine crankcase.

Run it for some time and the oil will be gone (as previous post states).

Glad you came out good.

You might want to verify all fluid levels are good. The battery may have leaked acid so rinse off that area well and check battery levels.
