Since I'm new with tractors, I been researching a lot of attachments and implements and one that stood out to me was the stump bucket. They look like a useful tool, my brother has one for his B-series and likes it a lot being able to dig out some stumps and even use it make trenches for drainage pipes.

I watched countless videos of folks using them to dig up stumps and I must say, I'm impressed with them but at the same time how much abuse is the tractor/loader is taking? Do they really put excessive wear on the loader?

This is what gets me though....and I find it a bit comical. I discovered this YouTuber who has a BX series tractor and I am so impressed how large of stumps he's managed to dig out with that small tractor using a stump bucket. Check it out yourself. But when I go try to find someone using a standard L series with a stump bucket, they're just digging up tiny little 1-3" sapling stumps and this guy on youtube with the BX is digging up stumps that are like 8-12"! I just find it kinda funny. I'm impressed with those small machines are actually capable of.

I'm really interested in one of these stump buckets, I have small stumps to remove and drainage that I'd like to do and I can see this being a huge time saver. I would think my L2501 would be able to do the same thing as the BX with ease haha. But I haven't come across anyone using it like that.

For those who do have a standard L and a stump bucket, how has your experience been? I apologize if I'm asking too many questions, I'm just trying to gather all the knowledge I can.
