Today while cutting the field, I noticed a lot of noise coming from under the seat. When I got back to the house, I let it idle in neutral and realized what I was hearing are the gears in the PTO. The PTO was disengaged at the time, and I could clearly hear them turning inside of the case. This may be normal, and it might just be that I never noticed it before. I was using the LandPride 60" FDR1660 for about 3 hours today.

Check your hydraulic fluid by chance?

With nothing hooked up to either PTO - shift through the 3 settings and see it the noise changes

You broke it! ;) :p
If you are not joking, would it be covered under the 5-year powertrain warranty? It seems to operate correctly and the fluid level isn't low, The tractor has 190 hours on it, so it is coming up to the 200-hour service. I guess that I can do it 10 hours early, but if it has to come apart to be repaired, then there is no sense in wasting the fluid.
