The backhoe for my BX24d was stolen in the last few days! It was inside a locked compound here in Hardisty Alberta. I will get the serial number from Kubota on Monday. Anyone seeing a loose backhoe for a BX being peddled please let me know!
I wish i knew! they took the sd card out of the security cameraSo sorry that SUCKS!
How the heck did they get it loaded?
Maybe a boom truck. Or perhaps they showed up with a BX on a trailer and got the backhoe hooked up.So sorry that SUCKS!

They cut through a chainlink fence and dragged it out of the compound some way. We have 6" of fresh snow here covering the evidence.Maybe a boom truck. Or perhaps they showed up with a BX on a trailer and got the backhoe hooked up.![]()
A winch could drag it out through the fence and then they could load it either with a boom truck or drive a BX off a trailer, connect the backhoe and drive back on. Sorry to hear about this. I despise thieves. They have no honor. They cut through a chainlink fence and dragged it out of the compound some way. We have 6" of fresh snow here covering the evidence.
Please: Get all the Info you can and PM @eserv ImmediatelyI just saw one of those backhoes listed on Facebook marketplace today...central Alberta here

You forgot the Ants and Honey!Hello eserv,
That is a hell of a note and I hope the thieves get put in leg irons sunk into the concrete floor of a 5'x10' cell...naked. Douche them down once a day with a fire hose. Play random blasts of Norwegian death metal at 170 dB.
A thought...aside from the "permanent" sticker affixed by Kubota to each major implement, you could engrave the S/N of each into a couple of unobtrusive places on the equipment. A similar tactic is used in Ireland on each car window, and some car makers do that for cars in the US market. The idea is that any thief would have to replace all the windows. Having serials engraved into the heavy metal parts of a tractor would at least make them identifiable if recovered.
Good luck,
UM
