I am not seeing a speed Control lever on my b6200 tractor. I am having a hard time controlling my speed when using belly mower.

Debora,

Welcome to the forum!

I am not sure I understand your question - is your tractor a HST or Geared?

Did you JUST get this tractor?

Yea, really need to know if it's Gear drive, or HST (hydrostatic).
And are you talking about cruise control or something else.

The speed control lever was optional on the B6200HST standard on the B7200HST. If it’s gear drive and is missing, then someone removed it.

So can you suggest I would handle the speed on this B6200 geared tractor. I have been able to use it in a large area but about killed myself in smaller area. The turtle speed is really, really slow and cannot adjust the speed when using the mower deck. The rabbit speed is too fast when using the mower deck.

Go fast in the fast spots, slow in the slow spots. Change gears when you need to and match your speed to your work.

In the alternative sell this and buy an HST machine.

Since you're new to the machine, you may or may not be aware that there are two locations to control speed. The first is lever which you state is MIA. The second is on the right hand floor board. Both are circled in green. The two are connected by a rod (circled in red). Not sure if this rod is present on your machine. If it's missing, then the foot throttle will not work.
When you open the hood, the lever circled in red (second pic) is the master speed control lever. You could always rig something up to this to control your speed.
When you mow, this lever needs to be full forward in order for the deck to run at the correct speed and give you satisfactory cutting results. It's something that is going to take practic, but you'll be clutching and shifting frequently in smaller tight areas. As alluded to, this is an application where a Hydrostatic machine is superior in operation to the gear drive.
