Has anyone used their PTO hook up ? I have a PTO Link but I still have issues with my B2601 since I have had hand surgery. This looks easier but wanted thoughts from a guy who used it. I just can’t turn that PTO link to lock it in.
No, I have never used either of those things.Has anyone used their PTO hook up ? I have a PTO Link but I still have issues with my B2601 since I have had hand surgery. This looks easier but wanted thoughts from a guy who used it. I just can’t turn that PTO link to lock it in.
Not being able to turn the PTO to get it lined up to lock in is not a particularly unusual problem on the tractor side if your tractor has a PTO brake that’s working well. It’s also not highly usual on the implement side depending on the type and size of the implement; some are easy to turn, some near impossible.I just can’t turn that PTO link to lock it in.
Great advice on painting it orange. I have several items painted orange for that exact reason. One of the handiest tools to have on a tractor is one of those old jack handles, 15" long with a bend and the straight end is tapered. Pain it red, white or orange so you don't lose it in the grass.

I'm a slow learner some times. I hooked up a disc mower and later couldn't find my "special" pry bar. I looked and looked for that thing and still haven't found it. That was six years ago!! The next one I painted white. By the way, they are getting harder to even find at the salvage yard.Great advice on painting it orange. I have several items painted orange for that exact reason.

I have one of these in every tractors tool box I have. It helps a bunch to get the PTO shaft hooked up. As we get older it get tougher to get those shafts hooked up.
Painting it white means you're not in country that deals with tractors and SNOW.I'm a slow learner some times. I hooked up a disc mower and later couldn't find my "special" pry bar.
