Needed a place to store my new Kubota M62 TLB and implements and the best solution I could come up with was a 40' High Cube Double Door Shipping container. Tractor fits....with just a little wiggle room but all seemed to work out to plan. Anyone else set themselves up like this? So I have 10 acres I'm getting ready to build on, it's just open desert, nothing too special but i like it. There is no improvements on this property so everything has to be done from scratch. The tractor and the shipping container where phase 1, shop and house prints are almost done and ready for permit submission. Here's some pics of the journey so far.
Built a 10' shelve in the shipping container to help fit all the implements. Was a fun project, check it out! I'll include some Tractor pics, implements, some custom implement pallets (exciting huh!?!?), maybe a doggy pic. My way of giving back a bit for the years that i've been sneaking around this site. This is my first tractor, first time running a tractor, lots of learning ahead of me, should be a fun journey. Limited to 10 files/pics it seems so here's a couple to start this off. Enjoy.

Here's a couple more pics to wet your whistles. Of course I backed into the new shipping container with my rig while helping the delivery truck/trailer get unstuck...dangit!

And a couple more of the storage container shelf setup. Can see the design/concept in my cartoony power point drawing. The shelf had to be built in pieces so it could be assembled inside the container to maximize width. The shelf uprights mostly fit into the side indentions of the corrugated steel sides. It's a tight fit but i think it turned out pretty good, fun to watch something go from plan to 'real life'.

Wow. That’s a snug fit.
