The product manual says minimum hydraulic flow is 8 GPM and your BX23S is only 6.

It works OK at 6 GPM?

Yes. Worked very well.
Ran at mid-high RPM.
Has flow adjustment screws on the boom cylinders to slow adjustments down while mowing.
Just too darn heavy for my BX23S.
Besides my yard is a lot of up and down.
As soon as I extended a bit it got really light on the opposite side.
Used a counterbalance (suitcase weights) and ballast in the loader bucket which balanced pretty nicely but then I must have been over 2,500 lbs total. I know it was definitely more than with the loader backhoe combo.
Pucker up!
I wish it was lighter because the two times I had it on it mowed the banks really well.
