I need to change the battery in my L4610, but I can't figure out how to access the area behind the grill where the battery is mounted to its tray. Does anyone have instructions on how to do this?

I hope someone who owns a L4610 posts a response, but I’ll bet it’s like many other models... You’ve got to raise the hood... and if you have a FEL (Front End Loader) you may have to remove it OR must raise the FEL... but BEWARE... Please SUPPORT it with something so it won’t fall on you and crush you.

I use high transmission jack-stands but you can also use ”split-pipe” type cylinder locks, etc.

To remove the grill and access the battery, remove the side panels, and then turn the chrome hood guide or ornament clockwise. That will unlatch the grill and it pulls out or falls out. The hood on an L10 series does not lift up.
