Rear remotes leaking

The rear remotes on my M6040 are leaking. They seem to be getting worse as now after about 5 hours the entire rear of the tractor is covered.

Searching here and other forums some say they can be resealed while others say just replace the entire quick connect.

I believe I have them narrowed down to Faster ISO A 7241 A fitting with a 3/8 male BSPP port thread.

Messicks has a seal kit for these that are about $12 for each coupler. Whereas new couplers are a little over $100 each.

I ordered and received a seal kit for the Faster couplings on my M6060 due to leaks.

Seen your post earlier about that. Where did you order those from? On faster couplings website it shows that part number is for 3/4” couplings?

I ordered from the following company after speaking directly with Faster customer service and giving all of the information I could find on the couplers. The person I spoke to told me that SK ANV 34 was the seal kit that I needed.

Thanks. I’ll give them a call in the morning. Have you resealed couplers like these before? I have not, but they appear to just thread apart

If you call, it's best to have the part number of the seal kit that you want. The guy I spoke to wasn't overly interested in doing research, so he was pleased when I told him that I knew the part number.

I haven't replaced any seals yet but based on the tool marks on the couplers on my tractor, someone screwed them in place using a pipe wrench. To be honest, the couplers look nice and the dust caps are nice too, but the website sucks, the numbering on the couplers sucks, having to use a pipe wrench sucks and so on. Overall I'm quite underwhelmed and actually annoyed by most everything about Faster as a company.

Yep. Most hydraulic shops can set you up with seals. And if you bring in the old seals, they will match them; no parts numbers needed.

@JasonW, what's stamped on your couplings i.e. what numbers and letters? No amount of searching on Faster's website turned up a coupling with the numbers on mine which is mind boggling. Perhaps Kubota or Land Pride has a contract with Faster and the couplings are marked differently. I measured the hex and the o.d. of the coupling and nothing matches anything in Faster's spec sheets.

It's entirely possible that the seal kit I have isn't the right one, but the woman on the phone seemed to know her stuff and was quick to tell me what I needed.
