I decided to mount the mower deck that is original to my uncles' B8200 that he bought new in '84. Not sure how long the deck sat off the machine but I can gather it has not been in service for at least 15-20 years. I replaced the deck belt and blades and serviced the rest of the deck. I mounted it to the tractor last night and plan on a test run with it. I cannot find the manual that came with it so I have a couple questions hopefully someone here can help with.
1. Are the chains on the rear of the deck used to hold it up when not in service?
2. What are the cut height increments for the guide wheels and rear roller?
3. Does the deck raise with the 3pt at all?
I appreciate any input you guys may have for me.

No chains that I’m aware of. Here are the gauge settings for the RC60-24B on my B1700 IMG_2953.jpeg

There's a sticker on the left side of the deck that is 99% faded. All I could make out was a Roman Numeral III. I bet that is what this sticker is representing. Initially, I thought it was the deck belt routing diagram but after seeing your picture, I bet it is the deck height adjustment. Thanks!

I can't help you with mounting, but I can save you from wasting a new belt. Most likely the pulleys have some rust on them. That rust will chew up the new belt. For that reason, I would put the old belt back on and use it to "polish" the pulleys. You can always put the new belt on later if you need it.
