Hi Guys! So I ran the 7100 out of fuel. I filled her back up but, how do I safely start it back up? It was sputtering when I turned it off.
Thanks!

there is a bleeder screw - open the throttle all the way - open screw, DO NOT remove, just turn a few to open.

Turn key - it will throw a bunch of air and fuel out ( everywhere) once the bubbles go away - close the screw. IT very well may start as you empty the air - if so, back off throttle and snug back up screw.

It may run a bit rough for a bit - but it will clear up quickly, if NOT repeat the steps.

In the above instructions: turn key should mean crank engine IF you have an older tractor without any electrical pump between the fuel tank and the injection pump. Which is what I think you have, but @85Hokie has the same tractor so he knows more about it than me!

yes, I should have been more clear - turn the key to start, rather try to start it

Get in the habit of fueling the tractor every time you take it out, and you will never run out of fuel unless you are working it at full throttle all day long.

If it won't start after you bleed to the injection pump, you will have to bleed to the injectors, very common to have to do that on these engines.
