A friend of mine was cleaning out a garage which contained a bunch of old electronics. He was intrigued by this device, I think it's some kind of tuner. But, as a mechanical engineer, I was more intrigued by the two intermittent movement mechanisms, a geneva and a partial gear. The Collins tag and the 27.5vdc motor make me think it may be aeronautic related. Anybody recognize it?
