Question of replacing hydrolic hose on BX2200

One of the hydraulic hose is leaking on my BX2200. I just received a hose brought online. But the new hose comes with a female connector on one side and the current one is male as shown below:

Here is the female connector on new hose:

Is there a male to male fitting I can use to make the extension? Or I need to buy a different one.

Another issue is that the other side of the hose is deep inside an enclosed area under control box and hard to reach. There is a screw which needs to be loosened. How can I loose that screw deep inside and with what tool? The image below shows the screw which needs to be loosened.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure about the BX2200, but on my BX2230, there are two bolts that hold he FEL valve to the mount. When I changed a detent assembly on mine, I took one bolt out and loosened the other one, allowing me to pivot the valve assembly out away from the tractor.
If not, how about a crow foot wrench on a 3/8" drive extension.

As for the hose end, you need a male JIC or SAE to pipe thread adapter to connect to the quick coupler. Any hydraulic shop can supply that. Just take the hose and the quick coupler with you so you get the correct size fitting.

Hi dismith, thanks for the info. the front load on BX2200 is LA211. I look up online and did not find clear image showing the control box. But it seems that on BX2230 the control box is more accessible. On BX2200 there is a tiny gap between the screw and the wall. It seems no easy way to remove the box as well.

75538-66410 is the Part Number for the hose you need, looks like you ordered the wrong part.
To access the hose fitting at the control valve, you can remove the bolts holding the valve to the bracket from the bottom. The valve can then be moved or turned as needed.

The BX2230 Has the same LA211 FEL as the BX2200.

The inner large Phillips screw that hold the cover on can be easily accessed if you remove the battery cover. It needs a #3 Phillips driver to fit it properly.

Like I said, there are two bolts at the bottom of the plate that the FEL control valve is mounted on, and you can loosen the outer one, remove the inner one and the whole valve assemble will pivot out away from the tractor.

Like whitetiger said, I think you have the wrong replacement hose.
