Has anyone ever put a backhoe onto a BX 2670 tractor? I bought a used BX 2670 from a used tractor dealer in the Midwest. He delivered to my house in Nevada. The backhoe was from a bx24 tractor. He gave me all the parts to put it on. I put on the rear cradle for the backhoe and the side frame pieces which he supplied. I also plummed the hydraulics to the backhoe exactly the same as a BX 24. Made pics at the rental yard to get it right. However my backhoe works really slow and if you push levers to the max position it stops, even at max rpm. Any ideas?

Did your BX2670 have a BH hydraulic loop on it or did you splice into the tractor hydraulic system somewhere?

Yes ,it has the hydraulic loop
I also tried every possible combination of hooking up the hydraulic system. Still feels like the hoses torquing when at max pressure, like something is preventing proper flow. It works somewhat when on high rpm with the controls gently used but stops working when controls pushed to max position.

How many times have you disconnected and reconnected the hydraulic hoses?

Upload some pictures - we need to see WHAT you are seeing and how it is hooked up.

Yes we'll need to see the plumbing.
I don't even see a OEM BH loop as an option on that model?

Do you have a front end loader?
Yes it has the fr.end loader working fine. I disconnected all hydraulic hoses at couplers for loader thinking something is bleeding off ,not giving the right amount of pressure to the hoe. But that didn't make any difference either. It feels like the pressure is going against a dead end when I operate the hoe. Only time I get it to move is when I operate controls slightly or in wiggle the stick mode.

Do you know how the hydraulics from the tractor are arranged? Is there a block on the tractor that you hook the FEL hoses too? Is there a description of what the ports on the block are for in the operating manual?

Here's a picture from the WSM, hooking up the FEL should be straightforward. After he posts some pictures, we should be able to tell him how to hook up the backhoe.

Picture B is what mine looks like. With pb and p going to fel I think. One of my backhoe hoses goes transmission plug that was previously plugged. BX 24 had a hose connection from hoe into this ,so I routed my hose from hoe to this port. Other two hoses from hoe went into hydraulic loop.

Three hoses coming from hoe. I hooked up exactly as the box 24 tractor. Took pics at rental yard. I think now poss. I should tie into power beyond port.

Since your FEL has 3 connections, it should have hooked up exactly like the diagram in lucky post 13. Where was the third, tank, hose connected?

Let's start with your backhoe disconnected and the FEL connected as shown in the figure. Disconnect hose at port 'c' and connect it to the Pressure port on the backhoe valve. Run the hose from the backhoe valve Pressure Beyond port to port 'c'. Tee the backhoe Tank hose into port 'a' with the FEL Tank hose.

That was simplified to describe the circuit. Some of the hoses will not be long enough to do exactly what I said. Also, you will need male and female couplers so that the lines to and from the hoe can be coupled together (the tank line just needs to be capped) when the hoe is removed, to complete the loop (this, in effect, puts the FEL power beyond back to 'c' like it was). And, the hoses need to be long enough to be connected to the hoe before it's mounted, since you use the hydraulics to lift it onto the brackets.

Let me point out that is not a factory loop.
Seeing just the back connection doesn't do us a lot of good, we need to see how and where they tied into the other end of the hoses and to the tractor.

What is the model number of the BH?

Are you very familiar with open center hydraulic systems?

Since you state the FEL works properly (as I understand your posts) then you just need to work from that to the FEL. Please confirm that the FEL operates properly and post some pictures of the hoses between the tractor and the FEL valve. Please identify the hose ends with number or letters since you won’t be able to get pictures that show the whole run. Or you can sketch how you have it piped now.

There should be a power beyond (PB) sleeve in the FEL valve. That should be run to the backhoe power in port. Then there may be a PB sleeve on the backhoe valve (since you say it has 3 hoses) should return to the tractor PB port. Then the third line should be tank (T) and can be run to the block and teed in with the T LINE from the FEL.
