I did 100+ holes for my fence years ago with a B8200 and Tractor Supply post hole digger. What worked for me was keeping the tractor slightly above idle and going slow enough to not bog down the tractor. Frequently lifting out of the hole is also a good idea.
What I did learn, and has been mentioned here is that the auger tip is does wear out! Without a good tip the auger blade will not engage the dirt and the thing simply spins around.
Accidents with post hole diggers are ugly.... Be on your game!
