I just want some assurance that this should be the neutral safety switch?
When attempting to move the tractor, the OPC 5 amp fuse blows making the tractor stop (and turn off) dead in its tracks. Can this be a neutral safety switch adjustment issue or total replacement or something else possibly?

I have a cab tractor and it looks like a very tight place to change it out. :0(

Thanks

Not knowing the model makes this a guessing game:
or the seat switch
or the shuttle switch
or the other seat switch
or the PTO switch
or the clutch switch
or the wiring
or even the OPC itself

Thanks, no apology necessary just need to know to give you the best answer.
Do you have the WSM (aka Service Manual)?

Below is a list of possible switches and wiring paths that can blow that fuse.

If it's only blowing the fuse when you push the HST pedal, then yes the most likely candidate is a bad HST switch or wiring.

I have the same tractor, just a little older.
I had the neutral safety switch go bad. It had an intermittent short to ground.
I bypassed the switch with a jumper wire and the intermittent fuse blowing stopped.
I replaced the switch and have not had any more trouble.
