Old diesel dilemma

I filled my 2017 L3901 two years ago completely full and added a full can of Seafoam. I only used it about 1.5 hours in the past 2 years until last week when I shredded at my deer lease for 3 hours. I still have a little less than 3/4 of a tank of diesel from 2 years ago. The tractor ran great and no water in the fuel separator. Would I be better off syphoning out some of the old diesel and refilling or just top it off with fresh diesel and a more seafoam. I don`t want the tank to be less than full over the winter to prevent condensation.

Seafoam is less than 25% isopropyl and it says it can be used in a diesel. I use a biocide in diesel and my G18 sat for a few years when my wife was sick and it started right up.

I would just refill the tank. WE don't seem to have issues with algae, like they do in the states. Too cold for the algae I guess. Diesel does not go bad like gas.

Too cold for ANYTHING to grow in diesel, in Newfoundland!

My only comment about the alcohol (and FWIW 25% is a lot of it) I was a little concerned at the amount of Seafoam being added. I understand it can be used in diesel. I do so myself at times. But VERY diligently as my thinking is a diesel would be far less tolerant of that alcohol than a gasoline engine which can tolerate straight alcohol

I would not worry about it. Leave it as it is.
