Oil for b8200

What type of oil should I use in a kubota b-8200? Got the tractor today and the oil is very black.
i think im going to change it a couple of times but dont know the best type to use.

Assuming it is diesel engine then you MUST use oil that is for a diesel engine.

Shell Rotella or Mobil Delvac are examples of “proper” oils.

I won’t start an oil war by making any recommendations but I do use the Rotella just because it is convenient, available and suitable.

The oil in a diesel engine will normally be black after a few hours. Newe models that have emissions control supposedly don’t turn black (as fast).

Don't worry about the color, and changing it mutiple times would be a waste of money.
These diesel engines turn the oil black almost instantly without harm.
