No loader down pressure

i have a bf400 g loader and it has no down pressure only float down any ideas what to look for?

Blown seals on the cylinders is my #1 thought. ;)

This a sudden thing that recently happened? Check your thre point lever,just put it in the middle. Also if it has aux rear hydraulics make sure they are in neutral.

well i dont believe it is that because i used the wrong term meaning it wont go down unless i put it to float postion.
Yes wording means everything in describing issues.
Along with what Tooljunkie said, you could also have a problem with the linkage or more likely the float section of the valve is damaged or has come apart.
If it has quick disconnects on the feed lines, one of those could also be bad not allowing it to move fluid properly.

When you raise then go to lower, when you move the spool to lower, does it make a sound as if it is working hard against the pump or relieving the hydraulic fluid?

when lever is in neutral position still sounds like pump is slightly loaded. and the only way it would go down is in float or while using curl function.
