New BX23S question

I was just looking at the Build a Kubota website and I see that they are offering 2 versions, but no explanation of what the differences are.
1) BX23S, R14 TIRES, LOADER/BACKHOE$25,343

2) BX23S, R14 TIRES, 2-LEVER LOADER/BACKHOE$25,967

Now I thought that the "2-LEVER LOADER" meant it was the front quick hitch bucket, but that option is available on both packages. This begs the question "What is the 2-LEVER LOADER"? The option only shows up when you pick the R4 or R14 tires. If you pick the turf tires it is automatically included.

I usually check the "build a Kubota" and configure a new machine with all the options that I have on my BX23S and the optional Kubota and LandPride accessories that I have since acquired.

its an upgrade from the ssqa so maybe for you in the not to distant future you might be able to have the choice and option of junking / selling / upgrading all your old ssqa front attachments going fwd for the new design!!

Is that what we in the rest of the world call a "Euro Hitch"? Similar in concept to an SSQA, but quite different mechanically. I think more durable and reliable, but also potentially heavier.

I wonder why it is an option on R4 & R14 tires and standard with turf tires. It must be quite new because I would assume that anyone shopping for a new BX23S-1 would have been asking questions about it. Possibly it hasn't hit the dealer's showrooms yet. I wonder is it will be offered as a backwards-compatible accessory for the older models of the 80 series tractors.

A 2 lever quick connector is SSQA.
It's not a change it's just a different way of naming it.
The upgrade is when you have the Hydraulic system added to close the .

It just a different way of saying SSQA.
I think this is to avoid the consumer thinking that any and all SSQA attachments will work on the BX's.
Most SSQA attachments are too heavy for a BX to be able to use them.

The option is BX2410

I also thought that it was the SSQA, but that is still an option as you configure the tractor. Whenever I configured a tractor item that required another item to be added, the website through up a flag telling me that there was an additional item required. The same happened when you added an item that was not compatible with something you previously had added.
Please pick the turf tires option and go through the build and when you get to the SSQA it will allow you to add it. If your theory is correct then why wouldn't it be disallowed?

Yes I see the main page only shows it as equipped with the 2 Lever / SSQA attachment.

You want 2 Lever / SSQA!

I think it's possible that it's a glitch in the way it's written, or set up.
It's very possible that it will get straightened out with the new system update.

lucky me ,being in Canada, not allowed to access the USA website but.....
perhaps the $545 upgrade IS for the hydraulic hoses and fittings for the 'cylinder' option ??

Also wonder is 'skidsteer' is copyright protected, so have to use '2-lever' now ??
