I recently bought a used tractor that came from an auction. With some minor damage on the left side, it's possible it was turned over on its side at some point. It steers fully to the right, but not even close to full left. I counted the turns of the steering wheel from full left to full right (about 3 and 1/4) and went back to center and tried to adjust the tie rods to straighten the tires. The right side is shortened as far as possible and the left side cannot be lengthened enough. I can't see anything that is bent or damaged. The steering stops are set about the same on each knuckle.
Is there any timing or center marks that must line up between the steering shaft and the motor? Could something not be centered internally in the motor? Any thoughts?
