Hey all,

I've been searching the forum but haven't found a definitive answer for this, so thanks for any advice or help in advance.

A couple of years ago, I inherited an M4700 and some land when my father-in-law passed away. This past weekend I went to do some mowing and ended up with a blown out rear tire rim. I assume this was ballasted with calcium chloride solution and finally rusted through. When going to order a new tire assembly, I noticed that the OEM tire sizes for the M4700 is 14.9-28 and the tire I have is a 16.9-28. This is the OEM size for the M5400 according to the Kubota site. I'm fairly certain that the M5400 tire is what is currently on the tractor, but I can't find any confirmation that makes me 100% sure before I order it.

Can anyone confirm that this M5400 16.9-28 tire will fit on the M4700 axle and hub? Considering the land I'm using this on, I would really prefer the wider tires. If I'm wrong though, there is a hefty restocking fee for returning them.

Edit - I've been in contact with a local Kubota dealer, but they can't confirm because the parts diagrams don't list individual part numbers for the components that attach the tire to the tractor. The only item that has the same part number for both tractors is the optional 72-inch tread kit.
