I just noticed when standing in front of our LX2963 snow blower on our LX2610 tractor that the blower is noticeably tilted a bit when off the ground. One side might be at least an inch and a half higher than the other. It levels off when you drop it to the ground, but we usually pick it up off the ground in use to avoid gravel. We were on a flat surface., and the tractor itself was level and not running.

Any hints at what to look at?

Drop your skids down on each side and this will allow it to float over the gravel while maintaining level ground contact. I do the same with my rear blade. 👍

I can try that, but it looks like something ain't right, and I'd like to correct it if I can.

I've heard that having different tire pressures can affect this.

Actually check the rear tire pressures. Have more effect than the front tires.

Are there slots where the carriage bolts attach the blower to the tractor? This would be your leveling adjustment.

The k-connect frame under the tractor is solid with two pins that run from left to right that doesn't allow for any levelling type of movement. The only thing I can think of looking at my setup(same as the OP) is possibly not "catching " the blower with the subframe all the way on one side. When it is in place the two spring loaded pins are at the "in" position. Once there, the blower is solid to the subframe.

My BX5455 is the same (when lifted). I never tried to straighten it out because it levels itself out when lowered. Haven’t noticed it as being problematic at all.

Thanks. Our ground is so gravelly (think sandy) that shoes or skids too easily dig in and we start throwing rocks. So we pretty much have to pick it up a bit and not use float. It gets the job done. I do wonder about trying some of the HUGE skid shoes I've seen. I think all is attached properly and I think there isn't any way to make an adjustment, so fingers are crossed that it's a tire pressure issue. I've see where people have put a slit pipe over the lower edge for gravel, but I haven't gone there yet in my own mind.

You can also run a tape measure along either side of the front of the tractor vertically in the area where the "K" connect fastens to the front frame to see if there is any difference. Maybe something has shifted. I have the identical set up with no noticeable tilt.
