Hello. We recently took the 3 blades off our 48” deck kubota g18 for some regular sharpening/ maintainence. When we put the blades back on we found that the vertical output shaft for the centre blade keeps dropping and gouging about 10-12mm lower than the other two.

We have tried taking apart the deck gear box and all the bearings, cir clips, and seals were all fine.

Has anyone got any suggestions for what might be causing this??

Really need to see diagram of how it's made(link ??), 'dropping' 1/2 and inch almost sounds like a spacer isn't on the center shaft ? On some models there's a spacer under the pulley,on top of the top bearing. There's also an internal spacer
