Hey everyone,

I'm trying to switch my Kubota M8560 to row crop tires — the thinner ones for better maneuvering between rows. My current tires are:

  • Back: 16.9-24 R1
  • Front: 9.5-22

I didn’t get much help from the dealer, so I'm hoping some M60 series owners can pitch in with the correct row crop tire sizes. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

The front-to-rear axle ratio on the M8560 is 1.405, unlike the 7060 and 6060. The M5-091 has the same hub dimensions and axle ratio as the 8560. You can Build a tractor on kubotausa.com to see their tire options for an M5-091, but it looks to me like you have the narrowest Kubota offers. Some have larger wheels and look narrower, but I think it's only because they're taller.

Thank you. I am fine with regular tires and thin tires is just a want, you might be right. I want the taller tires for clearance as my tractor touching the plants strawberry plants right now.

There are also some options for narrower tires for the M5-091N narrow model, but I'd check the rolling circumference, since I'm not sure that model's axle ratio is the same.
