I am looking at finish mowers for my new L3800 and called the dealer for pricing on a 1672 and he said that mower was not recommended for the L3800 and that I should move up to the 2572. Is there a difference and are they rated for limited HP?

I have a L3200 HST with a FDR 1672. 15 to 30 HP according to the book. The 2572 is for 15 to 50 HP. My 1672 works great for me. If you have long hard jobs lined up, you may want to check out the specs between the two. My 1672 will tackle what I want. It's pretty tough. Get the product guide from your dealer to compare. I think the 1672 will work great for you.
