Tractor runs for a while and then when it heats up it kills. I'll start it in the morning when it's cool and it'll run for about 10 minutes and then it'll die. If I try to start it in the afternoon when it's hot it won't even start

What happens when it shuts off? Like turning the key off or sputtering?

Attempting to start “when it’s hot” what is it doing? Engine turning over?

Guessing you’re in Florida

Just to give you an update. The tractor now will not start I put a new battery in and it still barely turns over. Even with the battery jumped to my Jeep it doesn't increase the turnover rate. Don't know if this is connected to the lack of power when it's running or not but I have both of those issues. In summary tractor won't start but slowly turns over and when it runs it has very little power and only really Works in low gear

Try to check the rotation of the engine with the glow plugs removed so there is no compression. I would suggest that you spin it by hand if you can, then remove the glow plugs and then spin it by hand again to see if it is still the same force to turn. If it is still hard to turn that indicates that there is a significant drag from something in the engine (and that will be a rebuild of the engine itself probably).

You may also have some hydraulic fluid restriction somewhere so if you could remove anything hydraulic from the system (FEL, backhoe,…) and only use the simple hydraulic circuit that is part of the tractor that can show you if it is hydraulically induced problem.
