Hi guys,

So I’m new to this forum, I’ve recently purchased a L2850 with BF500. Prior to that I have also a B8200 with BF300, which I’m looking to sell on.

Im after any answers/advice please for the L2850 on the following;

I need to plumb in an aux feed to the rear for an off-set flail topper/mower and a wood chipper. Is there a kit out there for this?

I will also need to remove the front loader while mowing. This is due to the quite steep slopes and I want to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible. Is there suitcase weight or a ballast system that can fit on the “loader mounting bracket”? I’ve not yet had chance to dis-mount the loader and see what this looks like.

Im based the other side of the pond and greatly appreciate everyone’s experience, advice and tips.

Kind regards.

I am somewhat nervous providing information for your tractor. The European models are often different than the models in the USA. Please be sure the information is correct for your tractor. Here is some information about the hydraulic system on your tractor.

Normally the FEL has a power beyond port that can be used for the rear remote power in. Then the rear remote has another power beyond port that then feeds back to the tractor block that powers the three point hitch. Bothe the FEL and rear remote would also have a tank return that returns the cylinder fluid to the sump.

I do believe this is the same model as the US model.
