I recently purchased a L2502and it need an oil change. Everything I have found has been compatible for a L2501 but nothing mentioned the L2502. Are they the same filter?

Also I was moving some brush and busted the nipple off of the fuel filter. I was in a pinch so I put on a in line filter to get by. Due to the crappy placement of the factory filter, I am hesitant to replace it and just keep the in line filter. Thoughts??

Both tractors take the same filters.

A inline filter does not provide that same protection as a canister filter.
A inline filter does not separate and store water that can be removed.

Replace the canister filter!

My thoughts:

OP says: "Busted a nipple off of the fuel filter". ....

Remember please.... It is a small farm tractor. It is not a bulldozer or a Sherman tank. Cut or move brush accordingly.

Be well. Tractor on.
