Hello all,

My L-4530B backhoe has one thing happening after another. The swinging ram is leaking bad, and the hydraulic lines need to be replaced just about everywhere. I plan to do the work myself. What resorces do you guys use out there where I can get seals for the ram and hydraulic lines at a decent price?

The numbers off of the swinging ram are difficult to read so I have some possibilities:
342H (or) 942H
842H
8-559
Thank You!

It looks like there were 2 suppliers of the cylinder. The kit for either is ~$115 from Kubota. You might be better off to remove it and take the cylinder to a hydraulic shop for repair.

The hoses are no longer available from Kubota. I'd measure and order them on-line. I've used Discount, but there are others. You'll need the diameter (inside), length and fitting spec for each end. The vendors have references on their sites to identify the fittings. You may want to invest in a couple of fine thread bolts to use as a gage if your fittings are JIC, a common Kubota one.
