I bought a T2080 in the spring which is a great machine and I’d like to add a snowblower for the winter. The model that matches is a 46“ T2724 front mounted snowblower and as it turns out a used version is very difficult to find. I called my local dealer and asked how much it would cost to order one and they are priced at $4200 new which is more than what I paid for the tractor. The next question I asked is whether a T2740 which is the 40” snowblower designed for the 70 series tractors would fit. The guy I talked to couldn’t tell me Which is very unfortunate since there are several used 2740’S listed around me.
So does anyone know if the 2740 would work on my lawn tractor? Did Kubota keep the same chassis and mounting holes for the blower the same between the T70 and T80 series tractors? Or would I need to start modifying things if I went that route?
