I was using my L48 all day, turning it on and off , at times I would hit the key and have nothing hit it again fire right up. At close to the end of the day turned it off to talk, went to start it nothing. Dash lights come on turn to start nothing. Battery is good, connections are good. Of course the tractor is in the most inconvenient spot possible.

So.... BTDT many times.

HST? PTO lever? Seat?

Rock the pedal if HST, bounce on the seat, and or flip the PTO lever back and forth. Sounds crazy as hell - but chances are - you will find the problem.

i had that issue last year. My pto safety switch lever actually bent away from the contact point on the pto lever. I never have even used the pto as I don’t have any implements that use it. I just kind of played around with it until it would start. then I tried to start it with the pto engaged and it wouldnt so I must have fixed it. I’m assuming I sat at a weird angle or off center and hit the pto lever side to side that bent the switch. hopefully that helps because I tried for hours to get it to start before I realized it may be safety switches.

Thanks for the support, I had a combination of a very dirty fusible link and a glo plug relay going out. Cleaned one replaced the other, back in business.
Thanks again
