Are you talking about the foot pedal? Where is this part located at? What problem are you having, specific?
It’s the safety switch on the forward end reverse petal and I installed the new switch but the machine still will not move forward and backwards

If it runs fine when the pedal is in neutral position but dies when you move the pedal to move forward/reverse that sounds more like an operator presence safety switch (seat switch) issue.

How many hours on the tractor? Did you buy new? Has the maintenance been covered well especially the filter and fluid changes? Was this gradual, or it happened fast?
Off the top of my head, would the seat safety switch cause this? I am sure the Wolfman will have an idea.

@Rash88 you have us guessing what you are really asking.
Please don't be so vague if you want help, give all the details as to what's going on.
Details like:
Every time I push the pedal the tractor dies.
or hooking up the switch releases magic smoke.
Or the horn honks every time i get too close to the tractor.

When you push the petal forward or backwards it works just for a second and then the tractor will not move any more, the tractor does not shut off it will just not move,I took the hst safety switch and the seat safety switch off and took both to my local dealer who checked them both out and said that the hst safety switch was bad so i bought a new one and installed it and still having the same issue, they even tested the seat safety switch and said it was good.

Ok, this is why we need more info.
Do you have the WSM (aka service manual)?
This tractor is not a standard linkage based HST pedal it's Fly By Wire, that means the hst get an electrical signal and that engages solenoids that engage the HST.

Lets start at super simple and work up from there.
Did this just happen out of the blue or was it acting odd before it happened?

Have you checked Fluid levels?
When was the last time it had fluids and filters changed?

Have you checked the range selector?
Does the range selector feel right when it moves?

Does the HST or engine have any noise change when you push the pedal?
Have you checked all the fuses especially the smaller fuses?
Have you checked the electrical wiring and connections at the HST?

Wolfman, not to hijack the thread but do you have a source for the WSM for L47? I have been looking for one. Thanks!
