I have I think about a 1990 Kubota L4150DT tractor. 2833 hours. My loader and rear 3pt seem slower than normal. I changed all hydraulic fluid and screw on filter. No real change. I saw where some tractors have a metal filter screen in the transmission housing. I found a bolt on left hand side bottom transmission. I removed it but nothing came out. I stuck my finger inside and felt a round metal object but wasn't sure if I should try to remove it. Just wondering if this could be a metal screen filter that is plugged up and if I should try to remove it?

I dont see a screen in the parts diagram. I suggest you replace the bolt and read your manual(s).

I did replace bolt and used tractor. It works fine. Hydraulics just a little sluggish. I have to increase rpm in order for Hydraulics to respond quickly.

A common problem with this tractor is brake lining flakes off and plugs the suction line. I would remove the suction line from the side of the rear axle housing and be sure it's not plugged up.
