Hi, what would you consider a better buy, tractor with 90 working hours from 2013. that has been sitting non working for the last 3-4 years or tractor with 265 working hours that has been working a little every year since 2011.? Best regards.

If the price is right and you or a mechanic can be comfortable with its condition. I had a 1970 JD that ran great and still does, just the usual maintenance upkeep.

But which of the two options you consider a better buy?

Whichever is cheaper, if both are in the same physical / cosmetic shape.

Well 265 hours one is cca $2000 cheaper but it has narrower agri tires, doesnt have weights and doesnt have hydraulic socket for implements, all of which 90 hours one has. Both are in great condition. 90 hours one is slightly better looking in a way that you see its practically new. PTO has never been used on that one for instance. HOWEVER just today I have found out that 90 hours one doesn`t have all the papers so I can never put a license plates on it. So I guess 265 hours one wins, huh?

We don't have those issues in the US, We don't need paper work to operate or own a tractor.
That sad because the 90 hour unit sounded like a better deal as all of those parts and options are pricey and hard to get for older models.
