Hello guys,
I have few kubota's small tractors like B-series and L-series. I bought one year ago a Kubota L1-382 (not sure about US model match, mine has 38HP). Machine is driven by HST just like all machines we use. I have a strange problem. This kubota L-series has only 120 working hours and it's 2 years old , it's basically a new machine. The problem is that it looses the power to lift the rear implement from time to time. There is only a very small move like couple of inches and that's it, it does not goes up, no reaction on the lever which adjusts the rear lift position. Then after some time problem goes away. But this is a critical issue for us, because with implement down, we are completly immobile, we also do snow removal during winter - lack of movement could lead us to a financial penalty if we do not do our job on time. Maybe someone had similar problem and can give some adive, where to look for the problem?

Nice looking tractor and I love the front hitch!

Knowing nothing about that machine all I can offer is you are either loosing hydraulic flow tp the rear or the 3pt control valve ia not operating. If you can post a diagram of the hyadraulic circuit I might be able to get more specific. For example, where in the circuit is the control valve for the front hitch and does it still work when the rear does not?

Also look and see how the arm position is being fed back to the control valve. There is usually a mechanical rod between the arm and the control valve that can be adjusted. It may be damaged or loose.

I can’t see why that would effect your three point hitch in the way you stated but it is easy to see if it is the problem.

ASSUMING the machine has posiIion control- if the feedback is wonky it might cause the control valve to not open.

@Mat8791 - - this IS NOT your tractor - - I just picked a US model L3901.

Only offer as it shows the feedback rod on that model. Both Dan and Russell mentioned feedback rod.

Might be similar on yours. Might not be similar. Certainly hope it doesn't confuse things. You may be able to discern if it needs adjustment, is damaged, etc.

Since the front hitch is hydraulic, try moving it to a different position. Especially if it's in the all the way up position. It could be using available system pressure to keep it there.
