kubota engine help

I have a kubota 2203 engine in my bobcat skid steer. I am needing to know how to remove the engine belt pully in front of the timeing gear cover. Is this clock or counter clock? We had a small freeze this winter and I never even thought once to check the don't freeze in my skeed steer. Now when I cranked it the thermoustat housing is cracked leaking water and also it is mixing water in the oil and oil in the water rapidly. I am trying to check the freeze plug behind the geer cover. I was able to get the nut off of the crank. It was just plain old rigular right hand thread. I still need to get a puller and get the belt pully off. thanks for checking out my post..

looked behind the geer cover and found nothing wrong with the freze plug. Maybe it could be a head gasket. Guess I will pull the head and have a look.
