Kubota D1703

Hi I have /had a kubota D1703 with a marine gearbox for my narrow boat unfortunately the engine needs replacing could anyone advice me if all the D range have the same bell housing dimensions.

I have looked at other makes but being unsure if the gearbox will fit becomes an issue

It has nothing to do with D (3 cylinder) it has to do with the series number (03)
There is some cross over, would have to know what exact number your looking at.
